Everyone needs a little reading material

Yeah, so we are making some progress on the potty training front.  Woo hoo!  We worked on potty training some over the break, but it was definitely hard as we didn’t have large amounts of time with a consistent routine.  Gwen has definitely been showing signs of being ready to train as now she is getting to the point that as soon as she pees in her diaper, she wants it off…poop included!  She’s been known to rip her diaper off when either is in her diaper…not so much fun when it’s a poopy diaper!  Getting her to actually sit for longer than 30 seconds on the potty has been tough, but something clicked in the last few days.  Daycare started sitting her on the potty there too on Tuesday and put her in panties then too, and she had only one accident all day.  When she came home that night she asked to sit on the potty, and she actually went!  And from there on out, she has pretty much been peeing in the potty.  We are still not wearing panties yet as she still had some accidents today at daycare, but gosh darn am I proud of that girl.  I can’t even tell you how many times she has already peed on the potty tonight…and if tonight is like last night, she will wake us up to tell us she has to pee in the middle of the night too!  This girl is definitely on a roll.  Um, Izzy?  Not there yet.
