We took the girls out in the hot tub today in their innertube swimsuits, and after awhile they asked to go in the big pool. One by one we put them in , and lo and behold...they can swim! Well, in their innertube floaties that is! Izzy is really good at finding her balance in her suit, and Gwen has never been good with balance, but she actually finally got the hang of it. We spent 3 hours in the pool today! Bart and I are really looking forward to summer this year. Last year it was a lot of whining on the girls part because they thought they could swim, so the entire time they were pushing us away from them and then crying when we wouldn't let them go. This is going to be a totally different summer...with lots of beers!
